Jeff's first Disneyland experience!

This past June, we headed down to California for a vacation. It was going to be Jeff's first Disneyland experience. I hadn't been in almost 15 years. We had also planned to head to San Diego and SeaWorld. The vacation was enjoyable, although exhausting! Getting up early every day so that we could be in line early for Disneyland. Staying as late as the parks were open, to experience all the night life. It was, to say the least, a good time! The jury is still out as to whether it was a relaxing vacation (is that possible at Disneyland?)

This band of college "all stars" was amazing! Disneyland does everything well, even perform music.

Jeff riding (and actually enjoying...ok, LOVING) California Screaming. I refused to go on it. Thankfully, we had met up with my teaching partner and her family. The boys and her husband were more than willing to go on the rollercoaster again and again and AGAIN.

Tuesday Morning

I know, wow....what a title. However, the excitement of this Tuesday morning brings many things to mind. I am packing for a vacation. We are headed to Disneyland and San Diego. Jeff has never been to Disneyland or San Diego, so this trip is very much anticipated. Aren't all vacations? I suppose so. Jeff' grew up going to the family cabin for vacations and so I get the enjoyment of introducing him to vacation spots other than the cabin.

Tuesday morning also brings to mind that I am on Summer Vacation, permanently. Along with my resignation came permanent "vacation" status. Now, I understand that as things pick up and I become involved in other activities, this "vacation" status will probably disappear. But for now, it is another source of excitement on this Tuesday morning.

Last, but not least, well.....it is just a great morning!
